Toasted Ravioli {aka St. Louis Ravioli}

This toasted ravioli is an easy appetizer made with cheese ravioli coated in egg and breadcrumbs then fried until golden.

Ingredients for fried cheese ravioli

1 bag frozen ravioli cook according to package directions 2 eggs whisked 1/2 cup breadcrumbs 1/2 cup all purpose flour 1/4 cup parmesan cheese 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 cup canola or blended oil 2 cups marinara or pizza sauce

Cook Time 25 minutes

Cook the ravioli

Cook the ravioli according to package directions. Add 8-9 to a plate with paper towels.

Mix the breading

Add the breading ingredients to one bowl. Whisk together eggs in another.

Fry the ravioli

Dip the ravioli in egg, then breading. Fry for 2 minutes on each side. Fry in batches.

Serve

Eat immediately with marinara or pizza sauce.
