Equipment

  • air fryer
  • wire rack
  • medium baking sheet

Ingredients

  • 16 ounce jumbo flaky biscuit dough in a can
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin spice
  • 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • Start by separating the biscuits into 8 sections.
16 ounce jumbo flaky biscuit dough
  • Pat the biscuits to flatten a little bit.
  • Next, use a small shot glass to cut a circle in the center of the dough. Remove the circle and set it aside.
  • Set the air fryer to 350 degrees and fry the donuts for 3 minutes, take out the basket, and flip. Fry for another 3 minutes.
  • While the donuts are air frying, melt the butter in a shallow dish and add the coating ingredients to another bowl: sugar, pumpkin spice, and cinnamon.
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon pumpkin spice, 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
  • As the donuts get done (you will cook these in batches of 4), take the donuts and dip both sides into the butter.
  • Place the buttered donuts into the coating, flip the donut and coat the other side.
  • Finally, add the donuts to a cooling rack.
  • Eat warm or let cool. Enjoy!

Notes

Tips for making this recipe:

  • Take the biscuit circle centers, cook, and coat them like the other donuts. They make the perfect donut holes!
  • To store: let cool, add to a covered container, and place on the counter or refrigerate. Eat within 3 days. Place back into the air fryer to reheat if desired.
