Cream Cheese Slider Sandwiches

Cream cheese slider sandwiches are perfectly portable slider sandwiches that you can take to your favorite picnic local.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Hawaiian Rolls 12 count
  • 16 ounces spreadable cream cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 pound hard salami
  • 1/2 pound black forest ham
  • 1 medium tomato sliced

Instructions

  • For the herbed cream cheese: Take a 16-ounce tub of spreadable cream cheese, garlic powder, oregano, and parsley, then stir to combine.

  • Cut the buns in half, placing the bottom half back into the box that the rolls originally came in.

  • Spread half of the cream cheese on the buns.
  • Layer the hard salami, black forest ham, and the sliced tomatoes.
    1/2 pound hard salami, 1/2 pound black forest ham, 1 medium tomato
  • Taking the top half of the bread spread the rest of the cream cheese on it, then put it on top.
  • Cut into individual sandwiches with a knife.
  • Just put them back into the paper tray, cover them with two pieces of plastic wrap, and put them back into the bag. Tie with a plastic tie. Take to the picnic and enjoy!

Notes

Tips for making this recipe:

  • Use the packaging from the rolls. Since they were made right in the paper tray now just cover with two pieces of plastic wrap and put back into the bag.
  • Tie with the plastic tie.
  • Place the sandwiches at the top of your cooler so they don't get flattened.
  • To store: be sure to add these to a cooler for transporting and eating as soon as possible. If making these at home to eat, keep covered, and eat within 2 days, the bread can tend to get soggy if not eaten right away. You can avoid this by leaving off the tomato slices and only adding them right before eating.
