Equipment

  • pizza pan
  • parchment paper
  • Pizza Cutter
  • small sautee pan

Ingredients

Thin Crust

  • 1 cup lukewarm water
  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Peppers & Steak

  • 1 piece steak of your choice around a pound
  • 2 tablespoons butter softened
  • 2-3 cloves garlic cloves mnced
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup mini sweet peppers sliced
  • 1 small yellow onion chopped
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzerella cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Pepper Steak Sauce

  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

Thin Crust

  • Add water, yeast, and honey to a bowl. Set aside and let bubbles form on the top usually takes around 10 minutes.
1 cup lukewarm water, 1 teaspoon active dry yeast, 1 teaspoon honey
  • Stir in four and salt to combine into a ball and add to a bowl that has been greased with olive oil. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and a towel and let rest in a warm area for 30 minutes.
3 cups flour, 1 teaspoon salt

Pepper Steak

  • Take about 2 Tbs of softened butter and 2-3 cloves of minced garlic and smash it together. Slather over both sides of the steak then let it sit for about 20 minutes.
2 tablespoons butter, 2-3 cloves garlic cloves
  • While it's sitting heat an oven proof pan in the over at 400 degrees. Cut the steak into strips then remove the pan from the oven. The pan will be so hot that it will start browning the steak even though the stove top heat is not on. Brown on all sides then put back into oven for about 5 minutes to complete cooking.

  • After the steak has been cooked to the desired doneness, remove and let it rest. In the same pan add the sliced peppers and onions and sautee with a little olive oil for 3-4 minutes.
1/2 cup mini sweet peppers, 1 small yellow onion, 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Remove the dough from the bowl where it was rising. Place a piece of parchment paper onto a pizza pan. Using your fingers, spread the dough out onto the pan so it touches all sides. Poke the dough with a fork all around the crust.

Pepper Steak Sauce

  • Combine all sauce ingredients into a small pot. Cook on medium heat until thickened completely.
1 cup beef broth, 2 tablespoon Cornstarch, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 3 tablespoons soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger, 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Spread the sauce over the crust, add both kinds of cheese, finally top with the peppers & onions.
1/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup shredded mozzerella cheese
  • Place in a preheated 425-degree oven for 16-18 minutes. Cut it up into 8 pieces.

Notes

Tips for making this recipe:

  • Cook the steak any way you like, but I have a great tip up in the blog.
  • To store: add leftovers to a covered container and refrigerate. Eat within 3 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer.
