White Chicken Pizza {with Blackberry Sauce}

A sweet and savory combination on a homemade crust. White chicken pizza with basil and blackberry sauce is creamy and cheesy perfection!

Ingredients

White Sauce Pizza

  • 2 6.5-ounce boxes Jiffy Pizza Crust Mix
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded italian cheese
  • 1 cup cooked and shredded chicken
  • 1/2 white onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 handful basil, chopped right before serving

Blackberry Sauce

  • 1/2 cup blackberry preserves
  • 3 tablespoons water

Instructions

White Sauce Pizza

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Prepare the double Jiffy pizza crusts according to package directions.
    2 6.5-ounce boxes Jiffy Pizza Crust Mix
  • Add to a parchment paper lined pizza pan. Put into the oven while making the rest of the ingredients.
  • Saute diced onions in a pan with butter until softened and browned.
    1/2 white onion, chopped, 1/2 tablespoon butter
  • Dice the chicken and add the chicken with the cooked onions into a bowl.
    1 cup cooked and shredded chicken
  • Mix the ricotta topping ingredinets into a bowl.
    15 ounces ricotta cheese, 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning, 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • Take the pizza crust out of the oven and top with the ricotta mixture, chicken and onions, cheese.
    1 cup shredded italian cheese
  • Place in the oven for 12-15 minutes until the cheese has melted.

Blackberry Sauce

  • About 5 minutes before your pizza is out of the oven add the blackberry preserves and 3 Tbs water to a small saucepan. Bring to a boil letting the preserves breakdown to create a sauce.
    1/2 cup blackberry preserves, 3 tablespoons water
  • Top with sauce and basil right before serving.
    1 handful basil, chopped right before serving

  • I like to make the chicken in the Instant pot before using it in recipes where cooked chicken is used.
