Air Fryer Spicy Potato Wedges

Ingredients

  • 5 medium/large potatoes cleaned and sliced into wedges
  • 1 Tbs olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp Spanish paprika

Instructions

  • Clean the potatoes and cutting them into thick wedges.
  • Add the potatoes to a bowl then add water to cover all the potatoes. Set aside for at least 1/2 an hour.
  • In a small dish add the chili powder, cayenne, sugar, pepper, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and Spanish paprika. Stir to combine together.
  • After the half hour, drain the water and rinse the potato slices.
  • Using a couple of paper towels, dry off the potatoes.
  • Drizzle the olive oil over the top of the potato wedges then sprinkle with the seasoning.
  • Stir everything to combine and coat the potatoes as evenly as possible.
  • Set the air fryer to 400 degrees and add the potato wedges to the basket.
  • Add them to the basket of the air fryer and set the timer for 10 minutes.
  • Remove the basket and using a spatula to turn the potatoes. Return the basket and cook for another 6 minutes.
  • Check to make sure the center is tender as the time may need to be adjust up or down depending on the thickness of the cut.
  • Serve with a side of sauce, a simple combination of 1:1 mayonnaise and ketchup. Enjoy!
