Notes
Tips for making this recipe:
I have a basket-style air fryer and used it to make this sandwich. If you have a different type of air fryer/toaster oven you may want to check your manual for further directions on temperature and timing.
While I use roasted red peppers that have already been cut into strips, feel free to use whole jarred or homemade roasted red peppers in place of the strips.
Use only the best type of bread for this recipe. A ciabatta, rye, or marble rye would be great. Don't use white sandwich bread as it won't hold up as well in the air fryer.
To store: This is a one-person sandwich recipe that's perfect for lunch. Store any sandwich leftovers in the refrigerator so that you can make this recipe again!
