Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a bowl add the base of your donut which is everything but the 2 Tbs milk, chocolate chips, and butter. Stir by either using a mixer or by hand with a wooden spoon. Consistency will be slightly dry.
2 cups flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, 3/4 plus 2 Tbs cup milk
In a microwave-safe bowl, add the dark chocolate chips, 2 Tbs milk, and 2 Tbs butter. Put in the microwave for around 4o seconds.

Take out the dish using a towel or oven mitt. Stir to combine everything together.
Add the melted dark chocolate to the donut base.
Add another 1/4 cup of milk to the base then mix everything together again.
Grease a donut pan.
Place the donut batter into a large plastic Ziploc bag. Cut the tip of one corner off the bag to create a piping bag.
Fill each donut well with batter.
Then put these into the oven for 12 minutes at 350 degrees.
Once baked take out of the oven and place on wax paper or alumium foil to cool.
Repeat the steps for the additional 6 donuts.
