Cheesy Turkey Burger with Ranch

These cheesy turkey burgers with ranch are cooked until extra crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Serve topped with an easy dill pickle ranch.

Ingredients

Cheesy Turkey Burger

  • 4 buns
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup shredded Colby jack cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated onion
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Ranch Dressing with Dill Pickle Juice

  • 2 teaspoon dry ranch seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dill pickle juice
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • sliced tomato & pickles for garnish

Instructions

  • For the burgers, mix everything together in a bowl and separate it into 4 patties.
    1 pound ground turkey, 1/4 cup breadcrumbs, 1/2 cup shredded Colby jack cheese, 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce, 1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes, 2 garlic cloves, 1 tablespoon grated onion
  • Add the oil and butter to a cast-iron pan and turn the stove to medium heat. Let the butter melt, and the skillet heat up. Once the pan is heated, add the burgers making sure not to let them touch.

  • Cook 5 minutes, then flip and cook another 5 minutes. Make sure the internal temperature is 165 degrees.
  • For the homemade dill pickle ranch, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, ranch powder, and pickle juice.

  • Add burger to a bun. Slice up some tomato and top with pickles. Slather on the ranch. Enjoy!

Notes

Tips for making this recipe:

  • Make sure the temperature of the turkey burger is 165 degrees at the thickest part of the burger.
  • Some people do not like ground turkey but you can easily switch it out for ground chicken in this recipe.
  • If you do not have a grater to grate the onion, add a small amount of milk to the recipe to replace the moisture from the grated onion.
  • Make sure the temperature of the turkey burger is 165 degrees at the thickest part of the burger.
  • To store: add the burgers and sauce into separate covered containers. Reheat in the microwave or air fryer and top with ranch. Eat within 3 days.
