This toasted tuna and cheese sandwich is the perfect combination of a creamy tuna salad sandwiched between toasted bread.

Start by opening the can of tuna and draining out the water.

Add the tuna and real mayonnaise to the bowl and stir. Slice a tomato into thick slices.

Spread 4 pieces of bread with butter.

Place the bread butter side down on a griddle pan. Top with cheese and sliced tomatoes.

Add half of the tuna salad and more cheese.

Add the top piece of the bread on top. Repeat with the next sandwich. Place the griddle pan on the stovetop & turn on high heat.

Put a heavy plan on top of the bread so it flattens the sandwich down. Cook for 2-1/2 minutes.

Using a hot pad, remove the pan & set it aside. Flip the sandwich, replace the pan and cook for 2 more minutes.  Cut & enjoy!
