Stovetop Chocolate Pudding

Tips for making homemade chocolate pudding:

Make sure to constantly whisk the pudding as it cooks to prevent it from burning on the bottom of the pan.

1 cup sugar 1/2 cup Rodelle’s Gourmet Baking Cocoa 1/4 cup Cornstarch 1/2 teaspoon salt 4 cup milk I use whole milk 2 tablespoons butter 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Stovetop Chocolate Pudding

This stovetop chocolate pudding takes less than 10 minutes to make. The pudding can be served hot or cold.

In a medium-sized saucepan, pour in 1 cup of sugar.

Then add 1/4 cup cornstarch.

1/2 cup cocoa powder and 1/2 tsp salt.

Whisk the dry ingredients together.

Pour in 4 cups of whole milk.

Add 2 tsp vanilla extract

Add 2 Tbs butter

Put the pan on medium heat and constantly stir as it cooks

Cook until it has thickened, for about 5-8 minutes.

Pour the pudding into 4 bowls.

Cool to let thicken further, about 10 minutes.
