Scotch Egg Sandwiches

These sausage and egg sandwiches use the classic Scotch egg recipe and turn them into slider sandwiches.  Hard-boiled eggs, wrapped in ground pork sausage, then baked until crispy. Serve on slider buns.

Ingredients for Sausage Wrapped Egg Sliders

4 eggs hard boiled 16 ounces ground sausage 8 slider buns 1/4 cup flour 1 egg 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs ground mustard

Prep Time 10 minutes

Cook Time 35 minutes

Prepare the patties

Form the sausage into patties. Place a slice of egg in the center. Wrap the sausage around the egg.

Coat the patties

Coat the sausage patties in flour, then egg, then panko breadcrumbs.

Bake

Bake at 400-degrees for 35 minutes, flip halfway through.

Serve

Add the patties to slider buns with ground mustard.
