1 13-ounce bag restaurant style tortilla chips 1 small yellow onion chopped 1 cup sliced sweet mini peppers seed removed and sliced 14 ounces smoked sausage I used skinless smoked sausage 1/2 tablespoon butter 1 teaspoon olive oil 2 cups beer cheese sauce I used The Chunky Chef's Creamy Beer Cheese Sauce recipe
Sausage and sweet pepper nachos are quick smoked sausage appetizers perfect for parties or the big game.
Dice the smoked sausage, onions, and peppers.
Sautee in a pan with butter and oil.
Make a beer cheese sauce using your favorite recipe.
Layer the tortillas and sausage mixture on a baking sheet covered in parchment.
Pour the sauce over the top if serving immediately.
Serve separately & let guests build their own if not serving immediately.
