My best homemade BBQ sauce recipe is an easy sauce that is perfect for drizzling on smoked or grilled meats.
Add the ingredients to a small saucepan: Tomato paste, water, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire, cola, and seasonings.
Seasonings include: garlic powder, minced onion, dried oregano, red pepper flakes, and brown sugar.
Stir to break down the clumps of tomato paste.
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low heat so that the sauce is at a low boil.
Let it reduce by half, usually takes about 15-20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Add to a jar or sealed container and enjoy for up to two weeks.
