Using ground beef in sandwiches:

Make sure that the ground beef is drained of all grease before adding to the buns.

Baked Philly Cheesesteaks with Ground Beef

8 mini sub buns 1/2 medium white onion diced 1/2 green pepper diced 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese 5 tablespoons butter melted 3 garlic cloves minced, 1 for the ground beef & 2 for the butter topping 1 pound ground beef I use 80/20

Ground Beef Philly Cheesesteaks

Ground beef and green peppers fill soft sub buns. Top with cheese and drizzle with garlic butter, then bake.

Cook the ground beef, green peppers, and onions.

Place the buns in a baking dish, then fill with the ground beef mixture.

Top with the shredded cheese.

Melt the butter, then add the garlic.

Pour over the top of the sandwiches.

Place in a 375 degree oven and bake for 8 minutes.
