Chicken & Ham Casserole

Using condensed cream soups in recipes:

When this recipe cooks, the combination of cream of chicken and whole milk makes a delicious gravy.

Chicken and Ham Casserole made with  Cream of Chicken Soup

3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts split into 6-7 pieces 1/2 cup unbleached flour 1/2 yellow onion diced 1 tablespoon butter 1 pound black forest ham diced 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of chicken soup 1 tablespoon dijon mustard 1 teaspoon oregano divided 1 teaspoon garlic powder divided 1/2 cup milk 4 ounces triple cheddar cheese blend 1 tablespoon olive oil

Chicken and Ham Casserole

This easy chicken and ham casserole has layers of chicken, condensed cream soup, diced ham, and onions. Bake with cheddar cheese on top for a comfort food casserole dish.

Cut and split the chicken breasts & gather the ingredients.

Brown the chicken in  olive oil on both sides.  Place in a baking dish.

Mix the soup, Dijon,  oregano, garlic powder &  milk. Pour over the chicken.

Top with the ham & onions. Cover with foil & bake at  375 degrees for 30 minutes.

Take out of the oven &  remove the foil. Top  with the cheese.

Bake uncovered for  15 minutes.

Serve with the gravy  & enjoy!
