Smoked Sausage Nachos

Make sure to use a lager or wheat ale for the beer cheese. You don't want to use an overly heavy beer to take away from the spices in the cheese sauce.

Tips for making beer cheese to smother on nacho chips:


1 13-ounce bag restaurant style tortilla chips 1 small yellow onion chopped 1 green pepper chopped 1 orange pepper chopped 1 yellow pepper chopped 14 ounces smoked sausage 1 tsp olive oil 2 cups beer cheese sauce

Smoked sausage nachos have smoked sausage, a mix of peppers, and smothered in beer cheese sauce.

Chop the sausage, peppers, and onions. In a pan heat up olive oil, sauté until the peppers and onions are cooked.

Make the beer cheese sauce using your favorite recipe.

On a sheet pan, spread out the tortilla chips. Add the cooked sausage and peppers over the top.

Pour the beer cheese sauce over the top.

Add chopped peppers and cilantro if you wish. Serve immediatley.
