Beef and Pepper Subs (aka Ground Beef Philly Cheesesteaks)

Ingredients for baked beef sandwiches

8 mini sub buns 1 pound ground beef I use 80/20 1/2 medium white onion diced 1/2 green pepper diced 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese 5 tablespoons butter melted 3 garlic cloves minced

Prep Time 5 minutes

Cook Time 14 minutes


Brown the beef


Brown the ground beef, add diced peppers, onions, and seasonings.

Add to baking dish


Place sub buns in a baking dish. Stuff buns with beef mixture and top with cheese.

Add melted butter


Melt butter and add garlic. Pour over the top of the sandwiches.

Bake and serve


Bake at 375 degrees for  8-10 minutes. Serve.
