Beef, Bacon & Mushroom Subs

How to make the easiest beef sandwiches:

Hit the deli counter of your grocery store and buy a pound of cooked roast beef to save time. You can also use leftover cooked beef too of you have any on hand.

Ingredients for beef & bacon sub sandwiches

6 sub sandwich buns 1 pound bacon 1 pound cooked roast beef from the deli area 8 ounces white mushrooms cleaned and sliced 1 large yellow onion chopped 1-1/2 tablespoons butter 1/2 cup mayo 1/4 cup horseradish sauce 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles lettuce and tomato for topping

These beef, bacon, and mushroom subs are made in less than 15 minutes and slathered with a homemade mayonnaise-based sauce.

Dice and cook the bacon for about 10 minutes in a frying pan.

Remove bacon and reserve 1-2 tsp grease in the pan.

Add mushrooms and onions to the pan.

Let the mushrooms cook down for about 5 minutes.

Cut the roast beef into long slices. Add to the pan. Cook for 5  minutes.

Add the bacon back into the pan.

Mix the blue cheese, mayonnaise, and horseradish sauce together in a bowl.

Serve on sub buns with lettuce, tomatoes, and blue cheese sauce.
