Baked Italian  Meatballs

These Baked Italian Meatballs are made with a mixture of ground beef, Italian sausage, breadcrumbs, seasonings, and cheese. They go great with your favorite spaghetti sauce or gravy.

What internal temperature should meatballs be cooked to? Make sure that the center of the meatballs registers at 160 degreed F.

Ingredients for the Easy Oven-Baked Meatballs

1/2 pound Italian sausage 1/2 pound ground beef 80/20 mix 1/2 cup breadcrumbs 1/4 cup whole milk 2 cloves garlic minced 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded 1/4 cup parmesan cheese 1 egg 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning 1 bunch of fresh basil leaves chopped

Prep Time 10 minutes

Cook Time 35 minutes


Soak the Breadcrumbs


Soak the breadcrumbs in whole milk for 5 minutes.

Mix the Ingredients


Add the rest of the ingredients to the soaked breadcrumbs.

Form the Meatballs


Roll the beef mixture into 1-2 inch balls & place on a baking sheet.



Bake the meatballs in a 350-degree oven for 30 minutes.
