Baked Chocolate Doughnuts

Adding batter to a doughnut pan:

Add the doughnut batter to a Ziploc bag and cut one tip off. This gives more control when adding batter to the wells of the pan.

Ingredients for homemade oven-baked donuts:

2 cups flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup brown sugar 2 tablespoons butter, melted 2 eggs 3/4 plus 2 Tbs cup milk add 1/2 cup when you mix batter at first, then 1/4 cup when you add the melted dark chocolate 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 tablespoons cocoa powder 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips 3-4 tablespoons milk

Baked Chocolate Doughnuts

These baked chocolate doughnuts have melted dark chocolate chips added to the batter. Then baked in the oven and topped with a dark chocolate glaze. These doughnuts are a dark chocolate delight.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter, chocolate chips, and milk together.

Add the melted chocolate to the doughnut base and stir it together. You can use a stand mixer or bowl & spoon.

Grease a doughnut pan and squeeze batter into each doughnut well using a Ziploc bag with a cut-off tip.

Bake in the oven for 12 minutes.

Melt the dark chocolate and milk together for the glaze.

Dip the top of the doughnuts into the topping then set on waxed paper to let cool completely.
