Air Fryer Spicy Potato Wedges

Soaking the potatoes ensures a crispy potato wedge when using the air fryer.

Tips for making crispy fries at home:

5 medium/large potatoes

1 Tbs olive oil

1/2 tsp chili powder

1/2 tsp garlic powder

Using an air fryer is the easiest way to make crispy potato wedges.

Clean the potatoes & cut into thick wedges. Add them to a owl, then add water to cover. Set aside for at least 1/2 an hour.

To a small dish, add the chili powder, cayenne, sugar, salt & pepper, garlic & onion powder, and Spanish paprika. Stir to combine.

Drain the water and rinse the potato slices. Using a coupe of paper towels, dry off the potatoes. Drizzle with olive oil.

Sprinkle the top of the potatoes with the seasoning.

Stir everything to combine and coat the potatoes as evenly as possible.

Set the air fryer to 400 degrees and add the potato wedges to the basket. Set the timer for 10 minutes.

Return the basket and cook for another 6 minutes. The time may need to be adjusted depending on the thickness of the cut.
